That starting point lead to significant broadening of her research, both intellectually and geographically, and was reflected in the work of her collaborators and students: in Paleoindian archaeology; in all other archaeological time periods and traditions on the Southern Plains; in the method and theory of zooarchaeology and Quaternary vertebrate paleontology; work beyond the High Plains; and sustained long-term research programs both on and beyond the Southern Plains.
