Efficient quantum state estimation by continuous weak measurement and dynamical control

Abstract

We present a procedure for reconstructing the full quantum state of an individual spin based upon an ensemble continuous measurement. We present a demonstration of this procedure using a laser probe of ultracold cesium atoms.
