Education of the hearing impaired in India: A survey

Abstract

Data were collected through questionnaires and personal interviews from 10 schools for the hearing impaired in India, in the areas of language instruction, preschool programs, parent programs, and teacher programs. The major problems in education of the hearing impaired in India are discussed.
