Abstract

The Doppler shift, Stellar aberration and convection of light by moving media was discussed. The general formulas for all the three phenomena were derived by applying the Lorentz transformation to a plane electromagnetic wave. The plot of a plane wave propagating along the unit vector in the cartesian coordinate system was presented.
