Abstract

The authors have applied speckle interferometric techniques to 1D near-infrared (λ =2.2 μ m; K band) astronomical data to obtain diffraction-limited images. They have investigated a number of phase retrieval techniques applied to slit scanning data and they find that bispectrum analysis provides the best results. They also show preliminary results obtained with 1D projections from specklegrams obtained with the NOAO InSb 58× 62 array.
