Abstract

The hyperfine structure of the J = 1→0 rotational transitions of 10BH3CO, 11BH3CO, and 11BD3CO was observed with a molecular beam maser spectrometer. Rotational constants, quadrupole coupling, spin rotation, and spin-spin interaction constants were determined from the data analysis. The deuterium quadrupole coupling constant in 11BD3CO, was determined to be eQqaa(D) = -48.5±2.3 kHz and eQq zz(D) = 116.9±5.4 kHz. The procedure for determining the matrix elements of the spin-spin interaction between the equivalent deuterium nuclei is presented.
