Abstract
The formulation and development of codes of ethics for engineers is discussed. The code of ethics of engineers was developed on its first fundamental principal of upholding and advancing the integrity, honour, and dignity of the engineering profession. Engineers have design product and processes for the betterment of societies and nations. The engineering profession have achieved a robust maturity that they are ready to cooperate with other disciplines in working out meaningful and effective solutions.
