Abstract

An accurate and thermodynamically sound equation for the estimation of the vapor pressure of organic compounds and liquids is developed. The equation requires physicochemical parameters: entropies of melting and vaporization, heat capacity change on melting and vaporization, and melting and bonding temperatures.
