Demonstration of Loss-Tolerant Quantum Key Distribution

Abstract

We report the first demonstration of floodlight quantum key distribution, which thrives on sending many photons per bit to overcome propagation loss. We achieve 52Mb/s secret-key rate over a channel with 10dB loss.
