Abstract

An aqueous solubility data base for organic non-electrolytes is being compiled from scientific articles. These articles are objectively evaluated. The data are entered and checked both electronically and manually for missing information and errors. The data base gives the solubility data in moles per liter, grams per liter and in the author's original units. Whenever possible a recommended solubility value is given for the 20-40°C temperature range. Presently the data base consists of over 10 000 solubility values for over 4000 different compounds.
