Abstract

Additional hole confinement due to its Coulomb attraction to the electron localized in a quantum well (QW) appears to be of key importance for light-hole excitons in type II (In,Ga)As/GaAs QWs. We present a detailed study of the fine structure of magnetooptical spectra of these QWs properly taking into account the Coulomb well and strain effects.
