N2 - The authors regret missing the corrections below and would like to replace minor text and one figure included in the original article: 1 The statement on p. 980 that Lake Tecopa is located in Nevada is incorrect. Lake Tecopa is located in southeastern California. The sentence in question should read “Comparably diverse benthic foraminifer assemblages have been reported from Pleistocene Lake Tecopa sediments in southeastern California….”2 The authors would like to replace Fig. 7 in the article with the figure below. The main correction concerns the simple periodogram featured in Figure 7J, which is erroneous. The lead author (JB) accidentally combined individual lamination thicknesses and paired couplet thicknesses into the same spectral analysis. The correction to Figure 7J does not affect the ideas presented, or the conclusions drawn, in Section 8 of the original article. The authors apologize for any inconvenience caused. (Figure presented.)
