Abstract
The self-tuning numerical scheme for simulation of collapse phenomena in the framework of the nonlinear Schrödinger equation is developed. The scheme allows to reach extremely high field amplitudes ( |ψ|2 |ψ0|2∼1015 without lack of validity. Numerical results are compared with analytical predictions.
