Compressed sensing for portable millimeter wave 3D imaging radar

Abstract

In our previous paper, a 3D imaging radar system is proposed. To further improve the sensing efficiency and imaging quality, compressed sensing approach to recover 3D imaging is studied in this paper. Based on the raw radar of the proposed system, we discussed the sensing basis and constructed representation basis. The simulation and experiment results show that the compressed sensing approach can achieve a high quality 3D imaging.
