Comparison of intraperitoneal and intravenous delivery of cisplatin to tumors: A mathematical model

Research output: Contribution to journalConference articlepeer-review

Abstract

The intraperitoneal and intravenous delivery of cisplatin to tumors is compared. A mathematical model is developed for predicting the penetration distance of cisplatin into tissue adjacent to the peritoneal cavity. The effect of altered blood flow and cellular uptake on this penetration distance is also observed.
