Abstract

It is argued that the spin (6) limit is inappropriate for representing the nuclei ^131,133Xe and ¹³⁵Ba. The importance of fitting transition rates as well as energy levels is stressed. This is a comment on a paper by Michailova (ibid., vol.13, p.L149, (1987)).
