Collective excitations in a hard-core model of nuclear matter

Abstract

We apply the correlated random-phase approximation to the study of low-lying collective excitations in nuclear matter, employing a semi-realistic hard-core two-nucleon potential. Examples of the dynamic form factors in the four spin-isospin channels are calculated and analyzed.
