Abstract
There is increased use of percutaneous mechanical thrombectomy for treatment of occluded dialysis access. The Angio-Jet rheolytic thrombectomy device is one such device available. Reports have shown safety and efficacy of these techniques with relatively few complications. We describe a case report of a collapsed Viabahn endoprosthesis in an arteriovenous fistula during treatment with an Angio-Jet device.
