Abstract

Coherently coupled optical stark shifts in semiconductor quantum wells was discussed. The effect was studied on heavy-hole (hh) and light-hole (lh) exciton resonances. Results showed the existence of hh-lh Raman coherences in semiconductor quantum wells which is important to study nonlinear optical effects.
