Coherent dynamics of optically-inactive excitons in semiconductor quantum wells

Abstract

Ultrafast coherent dynamics of optically-inactive excitons in photo-excited quantum wells are investigated. The exciton momentum distribution follows an interesting moving pattern driven by the Coulomb coupling between the interband polarization and excitons with non-zero momenta.
