Understanding the vibration properties of a bimorph deformable mirror is a key issue to overcome resonance problem, a major drawback of this type of deformable mirror, and to make full use of its advantages. Two-dimensional vibrating shape of the deformable mirror surface, not only at a point, is essential to figure out the resonance behavior. The results are informative for improvement of mechanical design or control software.",
