Changing worlds, changing selves: The experience of the religious self among catholic collegians

Abstract

The interplay between students' views of college and of the religious self was examined to understand the internal processes of those who underwent a religious change. Interviews of four traditional-aged college students representing diverse ethnic backgrounds demonstrate how social and academic communities contribute to changes towards a redefined spiritual self.
