Abstract

Individuals who suffer an aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage experience a significantly high rate of mortality and morbidity as a result of either the initial primary injury or the subsequent secondary injuries. This Clinical Practice Guideline was created to assist registered nurses, patient care units, and institutions in providing safe, effective, evidence-based care for this patient population. Resources and recommendations for care are included.
