Abstract
We have measured the content of the radioisotope 14C in the lunar-composition meteorite MacAlpine Hills 88105. The level of 14C in the sample was close to the blank, indicating a terrestrial age in excess of 37,000 years to 42,300 years, depending on whether the 14C was produced by a 2π- or 4π-irradiation.
