Abstract

Six patients with metastatic carcinoma of the prostate were given 250 to 500 mg. of levodopa at four-hour intervals for bone pain. Four patients showed definite improvement. Based on our observation, further trial of levodopa is recommended for relief of bone pain in patients with metastatic carcinoma of the prostate.
