Abstract

Calibration of the imager for Mars pathfinder (IMP) was presented. The 12-bit data in each wavelength was allowed to be used in conjunction with a calibration of the display medium to present an approximation to the absolute spectral radiance of Mars. The highest level of precision achievable with the Flight Model hardware in radiometric, spectroradiometric, and geometric data collection was achieved.
