Abstract
Higher-resolution maps of the vector components of the lunar crustal magnetic field are used to set probable limits on the magnetization properties of two surface geological units. An iterative forward-modelling procedure is used to estimate bulk directions of magnetization and lower limits on the intensities of magnetization within these limits, assuming that they are the sources of the associated anomalies. -P.Br.
