Broadband efficient third-harmonic generation in an organic film

Abstract

Broadband third-harmonic generation was observed in thin amorphous organic films containing infra-red push-pull chromophores. A strong green output of 17 μW was observed at an input fundamental power of only 250 mW at 1550 nm.
