Biexciton resonance linewidth in CuCl: Collision broadening or not?

Abstract

The width of the biexciton two-photon resonance in CuCl, as measured with weak probe beams, shows a marked broadening if a high density of biexcitons is injected with an intense pump beam. These results are attributed to collisions between excitonic particles.
