Abstract

An orthogonal-division multiplexing (ODM) scheme is proposed employing Slepian sequences as impulse responses, which are mutually orthogonal regardless of sequence order, while occupying fixed bandwidth. Proposed scheme enables beyond 1 Pb/s serial optical transport.
