In Chapter 2, one of two most popularly used transducers for biosensors-optical-was explained, and how such optical biosensing can be demonstrated using a smartphone. In this chapter, the other transducer-electrochemical-will be covered and how such electrochemical biosensing can be demonstrated using a smartphone.
