APPARENT MUON LOSS IN MUON CATALYZED FUSION.

Abstract

Muon loss to side cycles of muon catalyzed fusion is discussed in a schematic model. Experimentally extracted values for permanent muon loss probability ('muon sticking') depend on the presence of cycles terminating by formation of unobservable low-energy neutrons.
