Abstract

As a result of the continuing search for plants having tumor-inhibiting constituents, the chloroform extract of the roots of Jatropha macrorhiza Benth. (Euphorbiaceae)2 was found to possess inhibitory activity toward the P-388 (3PS) lymphocytic leukemia test system.
