Abstract

Decrease parasympathetic tone throughout the body and are thus associated with increases in heart rate and decreases in salivary secretions Are used to counteract bradycardia that is associated with administration of anesthetic drugs (opioids) or surgical procedures Are used to decrease oropharyngeal secretion that is associated with administration of anesthetic drugs.
