Abstract
The initial effort in the analysis of the electron beam UO//2 vapor pressure equation of state experiments performed at Sandia is presented. Three computer codes containing different models are used to examine the hydrodynamic behavior of the heated urania sample in an attempt to reproduce the experimental results. Pending further investigations of the differences between experiment and analysis, firm conclusions cannot be stated at this time.
