Abstract

We introduce active optical mapping for multidimensional photography. An active optical mapper, high-resolution spatial light modulator, map the incident light datacube voxels onto sensor pixels in an arbitrary and programmed manner, thereby maximizing the measurement flexibility. We demonstrate our approach in hyperspectral and high-speed imaging.
