Abstract
Blood culture isolates of Bacteroides caused depletion of alternative complement pathway hemolytic activity, but no fall in C4 titers, when incubated in vitro with normal serum or serum containing 0.002 M MgCl2 and 0.008 M ethylene glycol-bis(β-aminoethyl ether)-N,N-tetraacetic acid.
