Abstract

The hydrolysis of 2,4-dinitrophenyl sulfate is accelerated in mixed solvent systems of reduced water content and by methylated β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) derivatives: the maximal rate for these derivatives reaches that observed in aqueous dioxane.
