Abstract
This work presents design and fabrication of a W-band slotted waveguide array antenna by polymer jet printing. The printed array structure consists of 10 slotted waveguides and each waveguide has 10 radiating slots. In order to plate inner and outer surfaces of the complete structure, non-radiating slots are added on the top and bottom surface of the printed array. Artificial neural network algorithm is used to optimize the structure. The final designed antenna has a 27.3 dBi gain and a 19.3 dB side lobe level at 78 GHz. The effective aperture efficiency is about 66%.
