Abstract

In this paper, a T-shaped feed structure is presented that enhances the performance of a polarization diversity antenna. It is a four-port network that consists of two input ports and two output ports. The -10 dB relative impedance bandwidth is 6.64 GHz from 2.31GHz to 8.95 GHz, i.e., 117.9%; and the isolation is at least 29.7 dB within the same band. Furthermore, the insertion loss is less than 0.5 dB in that band between 2.33GHz to 8.93 GHz.
