Abstract
A low-cost movable weir to block migration of salmon (Oncorhynchus spp.) and steelhead (O. ntykiss) is described. The weir cost US$24/linear foot to build and install. It can be operated in waters up to 44 in deep, and weir pickets can be removed readily if stream waters rise too high.
