Abstract

Hi-res is a highly integrated raster based mineral exploration system. It designed to aid exploration for common mineral deposits by intelligently and efficiently processing spacial geological, geochemical and geophysical data at several exploration levels. HI-RES employs automated image processing, neural network pattern recognition and expert systems in a unique linkage of parallel and sequential processing strategies to optimize mineral exploration programs.
