A continuous-variable quantum repeater based on quantum scissors

Abstract

Using the quantum scissors operation for entanglement distillation and a single-rail Bell state projection for non-Gaussian entanglement swapping, we show a multiplexed quantum repeater scheme for continuous-variable entanglement distribution over a pure loss communication channel.
