Abstract
Annual changes in the song repertoire of adult male canaries are related to extreme pathway plasticity, demonstrated by seasonal rejuvenation of the motor nuclei involved. This recent finding by Fernando Nottebohm provides a dynamic system for investigating brain correlates of learned behavior.
