Abstract

This paper proposes the solution of 60 GHz multi-antenna system utilized in Multi-Chip Multi-Core (MCMC) computing architecture. The multi-antenna placed on top of the artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) structure is designed to have the horizontal radiation direction that is demanded by the planar type chip to chip communications. The sectioned loop analysis is used to predict the radiation direction of the antenna in this paper. With this solution, the designed multi-antenna demonstrates around 2.5dB gain enhancements on the defined end-fire radiation direction.
