Abstract

A glutathione conjugate of acetaminophen was isolated by preparative high-performance liquid chromatography from the bile of rats that had been given acetaminophen (500 mg/kg ip). Its 13C- and 1H-NMR spectra revealed that the conjugate was 3-(glutathion-S-yl)acetaminophen.
